The Spring 2026 sports season is upon us with high school team practices beginning Monday, March 9 (middle school sports will begin Tuesday, April 7).

All students interested in participating will need a valid MHSAA Physical Form on file (dated on or after 4/15/25) in order to participate.  In addition, student-athletes who will be participating in more than one sport during the Spring 2026 season will also need a completed Dual Sport Agreement on file prior to the start of competition.

First Practice Dates for Winter Sports:

• Baseball - Varsity - March 9 (5:30-7:15 p.m.; CMHS Auxiliary Gym)
• Baseball - Middle School - April 7 
• Golf - Boys - Varsity - March 9 (3:15-4:30 p.m.; CMHS Room C100)
• Soccer - Girls - Varsity - March 9 (3:15-4:45 p.m.; CMHS Main Gym)
• Softball - Girls - Varsity - March 9 (3:15-4:45 p.m.; CMHS Auxiliary Gym)
• Softball - Girls - Middle School - April 7
• Tennis - Girls - Varsity - March 9 (5:00-6:45 p.m.; CMHS Main Gym)
• Track & Field - Boys/Girls - Varsity - March 9 (3:15-5:00 p.m.; CMHS Commons)
• Track & Field - Boys/Girls - Middle School - April 7
• *Meetings will be held with participants on the first day of team activity to review policy pertaining to athletics as well as the conduct and behavioral expectations for Rayder student-athletes.
